The Great Gatsby is one of my favorite books (Second only to the Catcher In The Rye) and while I am a big fan of Baz Luhrmann’s work, I just don’t think this is such a good idea. I have nothing against 3D, I just think that the format should only be used in certain types of movies/stories. I mean, come on. What part of The Great Gatsby needs to be shot in 3D? I wish I had a go-to person. Someone I can call up in the middle of the night just to talk. Someone I could drag to go see movies with me. Someone who wouldn’t mind listening to my insanity. Someone I could have a drink with just because I felt like it. But more than that, I guess I wish I was someone’s go-to person as well.
